• Whatever specialty you have in engineering,

Whatever specialty you have in engineering, you do need to be able to communicate it properly. For that reason, many engineering schools offer courses in writing and speaking skills. Added to this, they teach you drawing and design. This is the way most engineers communicate across board. It is crucial that you pass these courses well, otherwise you don’t graduate. Studies in engineering school are like studies in any other kind of professional school. Law school, med school; they cannot teach you everything, but they do a blasted good job of trying. If you can graduate from engineering school, and you cannot face any challenge the field has to offer, you have just succeeded in wasting a whole lot of time. There is a lot of practice necessary to make you seasoned and hardened for the engineering world out there. That is why you need the engineering school, to teach you all that and to prepare you for it. You absolutely have to enroll already in an engineering school of your choice and get to being engineer you have seen yourself as since you were a kid. You don’t get to go to a music engineering schools without getting you some fundamental music education. It just does not work that way. The rest of the engineering will come from the school. But the music education, that you might need to get elsewhere. At least that is what I think. An engineering school is where you get the comprehensive you need in any field of engineering that you have an interest in. Without engineering school, you just don’t get very far in that discipline. Go for your engineering school already, and be sure you don’t settle for one that does not give you everything that you want.
