    Fund cash keeps girls on the ball

    A YOUTH club is celebrating after being awarded a pound(s)1,000 grant by the Cash 4 Clubs fund.

    The Caledonian Club in Prestwick, which encourages children from all backgrounds to take part in football, will use the grant money to rebuild their girls’ team, providing the necessary kit and equipment and also paying for new coaches to become SFA qualified.

    The initiative, funded by Betfair, the UK’s largest online betting company has so far distributed pound(s)65,000 since its inception.
